How to Check If Your Website Is Set Up to Convert Bookings

A good-looking website and a website that converts visitors into bookings aren’t always the same thing. Here’s what’s actually worth checking.

1. Check Your Pricing Clarity

Land on your own homepage as a stranger would. Can you tell what you offer and roughly what it costs within 5 seconds? If not, that’s the first fix.

2. Check Your Primary Call-to-Action

Look at your busiest page. Count the buttons competing for attention (Book Now, Contact Us, View Gallery, Download Brochure). More than one clear primary action, with the rest visually secondary, usually underperforms.

3. Check Where Your Trust Signals Sit

Find your reviews, certifications, or press mentions. Are they only on an About page, or placed directly next to your booking button, where a hesitant visitor would actually see them?

4. Check Your Load Time and Mobile Usability

These affect conversion directly. See How to Check Your Website’s Load Time and How to Test Your Website on Mobile if you haven’t already.
